My background is in science. Through a decade and a half, I worked in a variety of technical, research, and sales positions. In every role, I discovered there was a need to communicate information in ways that people could understand - written reports, charts and graphs, training sessions, seminars. The key was to tailor each presentation to the audience's needs and backgrounds. It was challenging, but rewarding - and fun! |

As a speaker, I traveled around the country, and the world, presenting to audiences ranging in size from one to three-hundred, in classrooms, boardrooms, lecture halls, and laboratories, directly and through translators. The messages may have been different, but the goal was always the same - reach my audience in a way that was educational, empowering, inspiring - and even a little entertaining.
As a writer, I have written technical papers and articles, website content, promotional items, newsletters, community event stories, editorial columns, and the occasional mushy poem.
As a Wordsmith, I have dedicated myself to helping people and businesses create, develop, and deliver their message clearly, effectively, and enjoyably, using words written, spoken, and unspoken.
